Frisomat collects 1.651€ for the good cause with a hike from Frisomat to Antwerp (Belgium).
The Belgian radio station, Studio Brussels, organises each year a large-scale benefit. 3 radio hosts are locked up during one week in “The Glass House” in Antwerp. Each listener can request a record for a free contribution.
Music For Life 2009 brought in 3.700.000€ in favour of the fight against malaria. This year, the entire profit goes to the Red Cross programmes in Africa for children who lost their parents as a consequence of aids.
A sponsored hike
For the 4th time in a row, the Frisomat employers organised a fund-raising for the good cause. 31 walkers were set on their legs for a sponsored hike from Wijnegem to Antwerp (Belgium). A distance of 15km.
